Mattress Style
The topmost layer of a Stearns & Foster® sleep set provides a supple yet breathable surface for you to sleep on. Damask and knit covers are imported from Belgium and are interwoven with rich fibers such as wool, silk, cashmere, and suri alpaca. And while you may not sleep directly on the bare mattress, these soft fibers add to the initial surface comfort of your mattress and to the elegance of your bed overall.
When selecting your sleep set, you’ll also have your choice of five mattress styles, also known as construction styles:
Tight Top
The standard top of a mattress
Pillow Top
A layer of comfort materials added above the Tight Top, featuring gusseted corners that give this top its pillow shape
Euro Pillow Top
Similar to a Pillow Top, featuring even more comfort materials
Euro Top
As sumptuous as a Euro Pillow Top, but attached directly to the mattress top, leaving no perceivable gap
Box Top
The thickest style, similar to a Pillow Top but without the gusseted corners, creating a flat, tailored look when viewed from the side
